Current research
My research interests focus on two areas: 1) exploring the role of immune cells in neuroinflammation, microglia activation, and associated mood disorders; and 2) T cell-mediated immune activation, hyperandrogenemia (HA) in females, and associated psychiatric disorders. My research is a multi-disciplinary approach that bridges immunology, molecular and behavioral neuroscience, physiology, and endocrinology.
